SOA Architect Training Course

In this instructor-led, live training in New Zealand, participants will learn how to connect various applications, data sources, and APIs by building a sample routing application using Mule.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Design, build, and manage connectivity between APIs, applications, and services.
• Manage interactions across legacy systems and custom applications.
• Integrate software as a service (SaaS) solutions with on-premises software.
• Utilise Mule's design and development tools to create, test, and execute Mule flows.
• Understand and support various messaging standards, including AMQP, JMS, and WMQ.
• Monitor, deploy, and configure applications using the Mule Management Console (MMC)

This course is designed for developers building web applications and aims to showcase the opportunities offered by the REST architectural pattern, enabling seamless communication between sites.

Our ED-SOA training focuses on designing and analysing an architecture framework that extends the SOA reference architecture. Services are employed as event generators, signalling a problem or emerging issue, an opportunity, a threshold breach, or a deviation.

Although SOA is not specific to BPM software, there are numerous natural synergies between BPM and SOA. Perhaps the most evident is the separation of business process management as an independent function, enabling processes to be designed independently of any single application and leveraged as shared business logic.

Throughout this course, we provide an overview of SOA and SOA Governance. You will gain valuable insights into the benefits of incorporating service contracts into your development process.

This course is designed for Postgraduate (or equivalent) level students and will combine lectures with laboratory sessions, integrating both theory and practical application.

It outlines the advantages and disadvantages of various solutions (such as traditional SOA versus microservices architecture), discusses available tools (primarily open-source) that support development and maintenance, and more.
