1. Introduction to facilitation, or why it is worthwhile to use brainstorming
2. Defining customers/users through personalisation techniques
3. Defining the problem or challenge from the client's perspective
4. Identifying business value in the project – requirements and acceptance criteria
– creating User Story Maps using brainstorming techniques

  • Identification, definition, decomposition, and prioritisation of requirements – tools and techniques, such as Richard Lawrens' approach and the Elephant Carpaccio exercise
  • Workshop:
    - Defining requirements – identifying requirements using the user story format
    - Measurability of requirements and assessment of effectiveness – identifying acceptance criteria for a user story
    - Prioritisation of requirements based on the project client's needs
    - Transferring requirements – ensuring mutual understanding by translating client needs into clear, transparent user stories

5. Summary – retrospective using the "start, stop, continue" method
